The name Mattal is inspired by Angela Anderson’s two sons, Matias and Talus, and reflects her passion for building legacies. She believes nonprofits create some of the most meaningful legacies in our communities, and that sound financial operations are the foundation that allows those missions to endure.
She partners with Executive Directors, Boards, bookkeepers, and accounting professionals to improve financial operations, prepare for audits, strengthen internal controls, and build sustainable systems that support long-term organizational success.
Angela brings 18 years of experience working across every level of business finance. Her career has included roles as a full charge bookkeeper, fractional CFO, finance consultant, project manager, policy and procedure specialist, and audit manager. She has managed day-to-day financial operations, prioritized cash flow, tracked budgets, processed accounts payable and receivable, reconciled accounts, gathered supporting documentation, coordinated audits, and led cross-functional teams through complex operational initiatives. She understands both the strategic decisions leadership must make and the day-to-day financial work required to support them.
When she’s not immersed in finance projects, Angela is likely leading reggaeton dance-fitness classes in Salida, Colorado, reading on the sofa with her cats, cooking delicious food, traveling, or enjoying time with her family.
